Northumberland Scouts - Explorer Belt Award

What is the Explorer Belt Award? An international expedition undertaken as part of a small team, travelling through a country for 10 days experiencing its people and way of life. Completing a Major Project and challenges along the way. Then Presenting the adventure back to others upon return home.

Training Week End - 27th to 29th January 2006
Venue - Hawkhirst Adventure Camp - Kielder
Arrive Friday evening - Programme starts 20:00 hrs prompt.
Finish time Sunday 15:30 hrs.
Residential accomodation.
Cost = If taking part in the 2006 Expedition then the cost is included apart from food which is £10 per head. If attending the training weekend but not taking part in the 2006 Expedition then the cost is £40 including food. Please bring monies with you to the camp.
Please note that places are limited to 40 Explorer Scouts for this training weekend.
